There is WAY too much butter on that bread. Ever seen a Brit butter their toast? They scrape and scrape until all the toast is gone and any traces of butter are gone as well. Idiots. And a lot of Brit Butter was from whale oil into the 50s

There is WAY too much butter on that bread. Ever seen a Brit butter their toast? They scrape and scrape until all the toast is gone and any traces of butter are gone as well. Idiots. Mom, a brit, grew up during the war, butter was scrape it on and scape it back off, a 'stick' would get you through 3 loves of bread. I think I use a stick of butter for about 6 SLICES...............
