It’s the earliest stainless I’ve seen. Of note, these first classic stainless guns were marked “classic sporter” which seems to have changed to the normal “classic stainless” sometime before G44xxx. What’s the earliest you’ve seen?

The one I have is 69xxx its's marked "CLASSIC STAINLESS". I'll keep a better eye out for these, seeing how it looks like they sold like hotcakes in the classifieds here. They sure do command a premium though. As 79S said, most of those which I have seen have been in the G176-178xxx range.
