One of the rarest Remington production guns ever made. 2248 of these were made in 2004 only as part of the classic series. This gun is at 98% with a few very minor handling marks on stock. Metal is 100%. It does not appear to have ever been scoped so my guess is its had less than a box of ammo through it if that. Barrel is bright shiny and as new. No Box. Should have bought a dozen of these when they first came out. Stores were discounting this chambering because it wasn’t selling. It’s a great all around chambering, and thats a nice looking gun.

I'm no expert, but I believe this is the only US factory production rifle ever chambered in 8x57. Correct me if I'm wrong, bump.
History repeats itself because it worked. If it didn’t work in the first place, it wouldn’t be history but another lost story of insignificance.

Most if not all other classic line calibers were made in other models and by other US makers. This was the only Remington production gun in 8x57 for certain . Its almost as new
