I’ve always found it impossible for me to hate him. I hated his presidency and his policies but he was one <rare> person that I separated his personal life from his political life and had 2 concurrent opinions about him. I think he was a terrible politician and president but I believe that he was a good man. I’ll probably be roasted for saying that.
Jimmy Carter is a rare exception to the seething hatred I harbor for liberals.
When he passes I hope he can RIP and I hope that his end is easy. Well said.

Only four in my life time have been half way decent.
Ike, Nixon, Reagan, Trump. Hasbeen That’s actually 5 but compared to the names not mentioned I’d say Hasbeen was a pretty good president too. 😀

I feel the same. He was the president that got the world on the Petro Dollar, really helped the USA. HIs farm polices ruined the family farmer. He promised that He had markets for every thing that the American farmer could grow. Then when harvest season came along, He started putting embargos on countrys where they could not buy our product. That is when China started investing in the rain forrest of Brazil. Look at the facts. miles

Never felt better voting for any other President. Liked to starved to death! They set him up to tame inflation with too high interest rates and other crazy [bleep]. If you could afford T Bills back then, you're still rich. Paved the way for "conservative" Reagan to spend like a drunken sailor. But life did improve.
