I don't AK,though I do HK and them differences are beyond stark. Looks like yours shoots "minute of mud puddle."  I wouldn't go in that puddle if I were you. Probably over your head deep.

I really like that Manners. Depending on weight I think I like it best so far.

Last time I checked with wildcat he would not sell to the states. I was looking at his stock for a model seven. Pretty sure that was last year when I contacted them about a stock.

Not sure on the barrel length of that particular rifle, but the forearm length on the EH8 compliments a shorter barrel. While not a M7, but a 700 with EH 8 and barrel finished at 21”. Thanks for the pic!! That really helps me out with my decision. My model seven has the 18 1/2" barrel, but I think it'll look great in an EH8.
Is there any kind of "grip" molded into the EH8 at the hand grip and forearm?
BTW, great looking rifle!!

I have a model seven in 7mm-08 with the factory 18 1/2” barrel that I would like to put in a McMillan. Was wondering if y’all had any pics of similar short barrel model sevens in McMillan stocks? I’m trying to figure out what model stock(s) would look good with the short barrel. If you have a good looking walnut stock that you are trying to get rid of, I’m your huckleberry.

BTW, great looking rifle!! No checkering but if you order a painted stock, it has nice texture. The problem is Manners seems to have dropped the EH8 as an option.

Thanks for the offer, but this was my first deer rifle & was given to me by my Mom & Dad. I'll be keeping the walnut stock I think it was about 35 years ago when he & my Mom kept me out of school for a day to go shopping for a new deer rifle for him. I never caught on why he had me handle/try every rifle he looked at until we got to the model 7 and he said "it's for you!".
