Incidently I said I bought this rifle, but the truth is I won it (sort of).
I won a drawing that one of my distributors was having and got $1,000 credit.
So I got this rifle, a Taurus Tracker model 22LR and some other stuff.

I have a CZ550 in .243 and it's an accurate gun. I had it bedded and had the trigger worked over and it's probably one of my most accurate guns besides my LTR and Sako 75. Yes, the stock is clunky but the gun is all steel and the receiver is forged and not cast. The rings that come with the gun are pretty tall due to the angle/throw of the bolt. All of the 550s come in long action which means my .243 could be converted to 6.5x55 or other long setup once the barrel is gone. It's a fairly heavy gun compared to today's standards but it's worth the money and it won't let you down. The action comes new as a little rough byut using the gun will smooth it right up. My .243 has a slow twist and will not stabilize 100gr bullets. Therefore, I have relegated to 85gr Sierra HPBTs. I don't think you could buy more gun for less money.
