A No4Mk2 action, zero bolt head, issue micrometer aperture sight. Issue front sight is fine. Some nice walnut, or maple, stocked as issued. Maybe a tasteful pistol grip sporter type butt.
Barrel. Contour as original, 1-10 twist, nice proper chamber and a .303 bore/ .311 groove. The bayonet lugs would be a " nice to have"
I think the No4MK2 is a fantastic rifle as issued. Just needs a better barrel. And fancy wood.
My old Faz, a 1955, could shoot 10 shot 6 inch groups at 300 yards regularly.
As issued.

You asking for information on building another one of your fantasy rifles, is akin to you being nothing but a tourist hunter posing for years on the Fire that you can actually get it done in the real world of public hunting. 🙄

Here’s a hint. If being a tourist hunter was good for losing weight, Jenny Craig would have called you.

Next time you pose for another spectacular moment, where someone had to take you hunting or fishing. Maybe zip your pants. You’re showing that you don’t even have the skill level to do something that was taught at the age 3.

Here’s the rafters that are lined with Blacktail racks as you said. Now zoom in, peel the fat off your eyelids and count the “blacktail racks”!! Haha

How many do you count you gossiping little cuunt? Lotsa whitetail sheds, moose sheds, couple the boys bucks, couple elk. Before you talk shiit, don’t listen to a liar, don’t speculate, know your fuucking facts.🖕🏿

You go you friendless fuuck. 24 hr defines you, it’s your sad little life as you sit in Portland bitchin and wishin. Now stay the fuuck off my threads cuunt.👊🏻

Well if I’m pretending I’m gonna pretend money don’t matter as well!
Make it a proper frame size Rigby side by side double rifle set up for a lefty. Add a quick detach scope for when I’m using this absurdly expensive rifle from a tree stand after whitetails🤣

Obviously this would all be in a fitted case with full kit

Because of the type of hunting I do in the South, I have a lot of caliber options to choose from because all of my shots are short to moderate in range. Which is nice because I have a fondness for some of the classic calibers that were more common in my youth. The .303 British is one of those that I have a strong nostalgic bond to simply because that's the round I shot my first deer with. I find that the Hornady 150gr Interlock SP has worked well for me.

I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to own a .303 express rifle. Having said that, I'd buy it in the blink of an eye if I saw an affordable one that I liked. And LeftHunter is correct that the fitted case with full kit is an obvious requirement. If I'm spending way too much for a non-essential rifle, I want all of the non-essential bells & whistles that come with it.

I like the slender fit and feel of the Uberti 303. I wasn't as fond of the Weaver quarter rib however so I ordered the plain rib for iron sights only. Unfortunately that optional accessory was out of stock ever since the rifle was released (I'm assuming because of the pandemic). But my plain rib finally arrived a few weeks ago.

Here's my Uberti with the original quarter rib & my Ruger #1 with a fixed Leupold 6x42mm. Being a right-handed person who shoots left, I do like an ambidextrous falling block.

I like the look of the Uberti, but I'd hope to be able to do something with the grip. Ultimately, it's difficult to argue with the concept of the 30 caliber 303. The only issue with doing this is the concern related to the firing of factory ammo. With a strong action and throating to accommodate the larger bullet, this isn't a real problem. Typically, factory bullets are .310 or less. GD

If you want to build one from the bottom up, you should use a 308 barrel. Bullets are easier to find and cheaper. Rebarreled, they shoot very well indeed. They are 30-303s and use the same reloading dies with one, small change, the neck expander.

I'd like to be able to find a plain walnut sporter stock for my MK4 303. With the demise of Bishop Stocks and Fajen Stocks the options without going full custom seem to have dried up.

Thanks. I missed on the number it's a No 4 Mark 1. I'll have to check Boyd's out.

I'm going to drag this thread back up because I'm almost finished with my 303. It took me a while to get the stock I wanted and then I had to re shape it and finish it. I'm pretty much satisfied with the way it turned out. I have a little more work to do on the sights to make them permanent, but they line up well and give me plenty of movement. I think this is going to turn into a great truck rifle.

I’ll give you my brief attention. Only because I’m deep in your empty head. And it makes me laugh! 😂

Just disturbing..... A man that identify's as a woman stalking you Jud. Fixated on your crotch. I'd be concerned. Jealous and a hypocrite. Happy for ypu and your wife! You had a great vacation and caught some really great table fare.

Only fixated because his hatch was open, but this time your head wasn’t there.
