tyrone: Take it from soneone who knows - YOU are wrong about denigrating the nifty little Redfield 3/4" 4 power scopes. Sorry man, I do not miss the bad old days of scopes one little bit.

There is an alternative 3/4" rimfire scope.
GruBee inc. has a Chinky import. They offer different reticles . Under $ 200 , I believe. Probably as good as the old Redfields.
The small 3/4 ' scopes look good on petite rifles. I like Varmint Guy, have had about a dozen Redfields/ Brownings over the years.
Most came on rifles I bought. I have a few left , including a 2 .5 or 2.75 X. they are OK just Ok .
I have sold most for $ 200.00 +.

I think they are cool. Just my luck to fall into several J series Weavers in 2.5 and 4x and they also look really good on a vintage 22. If I could have found a Redfield, I'd have bought it.

I had one. I didn't buy it. It came on a 22 I bought, possibly an SA-22 shots only model. Never liked it and thought the crosshairs were too thick/wide. It went away quickly so very limited experience here.
