I will be in Dallas from 4/9 in the afternoon through Wednesday the 12th. I'll be busy during the day. I'll be near the airport the whole trip. Any one single thing to do one evening, or something to see? I will have a rental car, but I'll be busy 8-10hrs/day. TIA

I would go to Dealy Plaza and line up the real shots. South end of the overpass and a couple places along the grassy knoll fence. And skip the 6th floor bullshit.

Downtown Grapevine is pretty neat. Mom and pop specialty shops, restaurants, etc.

I'd recommend Terry Black's, down the street, over Pecan Lodge any day. It's in Deep Ellum, which is a fair piece from DFW airport. Terry Black's BBQ
