That’s impressive shooting at 50 with iron sights any way you cut it
Thanks Cert. Hopefully swifty doesn't get too mad about me answering questions Holston had about the FVT's on his thread. I intend to shoot the TAC22 ammo in those rifles soon. It's been raining and snowing here lately though. Even though I've shot a lot in the rain in Oregon and Washington, it just does not sound alluring to me right now. ha ha.. If I do go in this crappy weather, I'm going to leave the 52 at home!!! I'm still trying to decide if the TAC22 is worth the extra cost over the cheaper Federal Automatch. A little more testing will decide that. Nice to see that the TAC22 is fairly affordable though, as it is very good ammo.

Tac22 has always been a great value. There are some lot to lot variances as with any ammo, but for the price tac22 is offered at, especially when it’s on sale, it’s a solid better than average ammo. Sometimes when things are just right, one can get a decent group…. Two separate range trips, two separate Anschutz, 5 shots each, same lot of tac22

Looking good buddy. The lot I have right now sucks. ha ha.. Just tried it in my MK2 FVT and it does not like it at all. It shot federal automatch, Federal power shok, and every other ammo I tried today much better than the TAC22. It was raining today, and very cold, so I did not want to shoot more than 1 rifle. I wanted to shoot my new pistol today too, but the weather was too crappy...
You just never know what a rifle is going to like, until you try it. Every rifle is different, but I'm not expecting great results from this lot of TAC22 out of my single shot either. We shall see on a better day.

Very nice shooting on different trips and different Annie's. That's what has been my take on Tac22. Overall just great ammo for the price. I shoot with some real .22 shooters at a 50 yd indoor house range. Most shoot various Annie's and custom rigs with excellent glass. Seems like CenterX is their flavor of choice currently. My groups with Tac22 hold their own mostly if I do my part. My Rem 541T really likes it. I'm really enjoying this thread folks.
This guy Don, has some pretty good videos. Here he's shooting his Kidd rifle, that he was actually having accuracy issues with that barrel. Just recently (within the last month) he had Kidd replace that barrel and the rifle is shooting much better. In this video, he also talks about having some issues with different lots of TAC22 ammo.

I am a new user of the Tac22 but I have tried three different lot numbers and they all performed like your picture in my T1x and Cooper 57M. The TAC22 I am using is the 1083 fps variety, for the price of less than $4 per box it has amazed me.

I used tac22 in my T1x for practice on a usbr target for our match this weekend. Off a bipod and a glove rolled up in a weightlifting sleeve for a rear bag I shot 219, 206, 211. Pretty solid for $3.53 a box at Rural King.

I took my Savage MK2 FVT out again today with a buddy and tried TAC22 again. Opened a new box and it shot half way decent:
Of course it's not match grade ammo, but it shot better today than it did the other day. Here's how the rifle did today with a little better ammo, but that ammo is about twice the cost:
However, when Automatch shoots better in most of my rifles, it kind of defeats the purpose:
That's just been my limited experience with TAC22. I know a lot of you guys have had better luck with it.
