That’s one way to get some extra elevation out of your sights… During the Civil War, the Union Army actually tried something very similar to this. They wanted to use the 12 pound Napoleon as a mortar for high angle fire, so they dug a pretty deep trench to drop the trail of the carriage into. I believe it actually worked quite well as a mortar, but with the trail of the piece in a hole, there was no way of absorbing the recoil of the gun! After a couple shots it would start busting up the carriage! That thing looks like it’d be a bear to load from the breach like that. Anybody know what the shells weighed on those 75s? 7mm

Either that or the it's a keyless ignition and the owner ran away with the remote. Could it be because it's a stick shift?

Thalidomide was developed by a German company and sold as safe for pregnant women. It turned out that they hadn't tested it on pregnant women. In fact, the pregnant wife of one of their own people tried it and had a baby with no ears months before it was released to the public. The coverup went on for years after it was pulled off the market. The human carnage was catastrophic and even until now they haven't openly admitted what they did or made restitution. The official FDA report showed 17 Thalidomide babies in the US. About half used samples handed out in the US and the rest said they ordered it from Europe. Some say there were a lot more than 17. ......1700 or more would be more accurate .i have met 5-6 just in BC and Alberta , out of the people that i have worked with.
