Firing squad by sling shots.... no matter how many rocks it takes. I’m OK with that, but would prefer death by tweezers, televised on the evening news.

We seriously need to bring back the gallows.

By modern definitions it is a sling shot. You may be thinking of a sling like the one Dave used to knock out Goliath. Anyway the kid did a wonderful thing and taught that young man a lesson that his parents failed at.
