I vote for the damn ZIP TIE 🤘🏻 I will admit to slummin it and buying the cheapo chink ones from harbor freight but I can't count the things I've cobbled together with them..... even have some of those super heavy duty 24 inchers that I used to temporarily fix up a gate that was falling down.
Leatherman, duct tape, electrical tape, and zip ties I believe you could work yourself out of about any damn thing 🤣

I keep a half dozen of the HVAC duct zip ties in my truck box (think flexi-cuffs on steroids).
A few years back a buddy and I were out hunting in AZ, and I was navigating up a particularly rough and steep inline stretch of trail. Sounded like the engine was coming apart. Turns out I had a broken motor mount, and the high torque required for the climb in 4-lo was causing the engine to torque up, causing the radiator fan to hit the fan shroud.
I pulled out 4 of these zip ties, wrapped them around the motor mount, and did not have a problem again on that canyon climb (which we did several more times), or the rest of the week long trip.
They are a "must have" in the truck box, and take up zero space.
