I watched Trudeau's presser on CPAC, he was a bungling fool trying to answer pointed questions, I highly recommend watching that, if you can stomach it.

Election interference, its alittle late now and what are they gonna do about it?

Here is my issue and the issue of many others.....what about foreign influence regarding legislation such as Bill C-21?...Bill C-11...or any number of legislative policy regarding mining and minerals that go under the radar because of its insignificance to the general public? Lets look at the relationship between China and minerals while we are at it....

This entire Liberal government is very close to a non-confidence vote imo. Not sure how that works, but we were very close during the enacting of the emergency act if it did not pass in the senate, and it wasn't going to pass in the senate, that is why they withdrew the EA.

673 and kolofardos;
Good evening to you both, I hope despite the state of our political situation that you and your respective families are well.

Being honest here, I didn't expect anything different from the long time family friend and Trudeau Foundation board member or former board member.

If, as a by the way, you want to get even more peeved at political cleptocracy, look into what we pay former "retired" Governor Generals - even ones like Julie Payette who get fired.

While I did listen to Shiny Pony's CPAC response a wee bit, I must confess that I can't listen to very much when he speaks since it's never anything which I believe to be true.

One wonders whether or not enough rank and file NDP will finally put the screws to Jimmy Dhaliwal and compel him to do something/anything for a change. He's able to fold the game at any time and for reasons known only to him or possibly whomever has whatever they do on him, so far he has not done so.

For sure and certain there has been foreign interference in civic, provincial and federal elections by the CCP and if they haven't been influencing legislation I can't begin to guess why not, you know?

Interesting times for sure.

All the best to you all regardless.

Dwayne

The end game is to influence policy and legislation, I can't think of what any other goal could be.

Everyone reading this is more qualified to be PM than Trudeau, he has zero experience politically, and has only had a couple "jobs" in his sheltered existence.

Lets just follow the bread crumbs. smile

I doubt if Trudeau is concerned about the $140,000....I'm not, its something else he is scared of, I am more concerned about policy (destructive policy) that has been implemented, and was influenced by foreigners.....Bill C-21...Bill C-11......Our MP's need to hear from us.

As BC30cal has already noted, the outcome was predetermined. Of course, when one puts their good liberal friends in charge of investigating oneself, you always come out on top. Just look at the Emergency Act inquiry findings. That will be the Trudeau legacy of his government. All this from the Prime Minister that sees fit to lecture others on democratic process. It is a clown show.

Morning to you sir, I hope it's a bit less grey out east than it is here, but we're up and moving and drinking coffee so that's good and I trust your world is likewise.

This was in my feed this morning and while it's a bit of a longer read, it's an interesting one.

Say what you will about Erin O'Toole and no, he's not on my Christmas list because of the flip flop on firearms - but - he did serve in the Armed Forces and got high enough that he should know the subject he's written about.

All the best.

Dwayne --- thanks for this. This was a very interesting and troubling read. If this is accurate, then a predetermined outcome is confirmed. Very troubling and takes Johnston down further in terms of public image.

All the best

Good afternoon sir, I hope you're getting the rain we are on your side of the big hills and you're well.

The one bright spot is that there are some in the legacy media who are if not still carrying water for Shiny Pony, have at least stopped preaching the propaganda on this subject.

As noted by many of us, there's a whole lot of layers to this onion and it's a rotten one by all appearances.

Our hope and prayer continues to be that enough Canadians wake up in time to see what's going on.

If we keep on throwing up some of this material, perhaps if each of us who do have eyes to see and ears to hear can move one person at a time towards the light.

We'll see.

All the best.

... Johnson is just another Liberal talking head just like that Mass Shooting Committee reading from a Liberal dictated script ... pure staged theatre for gullible, stupid Canadian voters

Don't people realize the end game for foreign interference in our elections is to influence policy?
Bill C-21 is the result of foreign interference, prove me wrong.

... it's a safe bet that the Chinese are trying their clandestine best to get Notley (NDP) re-elected in Alberta ... if Alberta goes commie-socialist that will neutralise most of the Canadian pro-gun lobby ... I'll also bet the CPC, UCP and the CCFR raked in a lot of $$$$ from gun owners over the c21 controversy

Good article that sums up David Johnston's brushing off of concerns.

What is missing in this article is Johnston's ties to China thru advisory chairs, children going to Universities in China ---- if he did not consider this personal ties to the Trudeau family as a concern his long history on ties to China should have made him say no right away.

Really good article by Rex Murphy on the role that Jagmeet Singh is playing in the election interference review. A couple of very solid points:

First --- "Back to the main point: what is the argument against holding a public inquiry in Chinese government electoral interference? Really? What is the point of denying such an inquiry? What possible objection can there be to a full and open investigation into whether our elections have been warped, and some MP’s family members in China put under pressure from a foreign and malignant power? List the reasons why there should not be one? That is an impossible assignment."

and

Second - "Which is that Jagmeet Singh has rendered Justin Trudeau impervious to parliamentary oversight and accountability."

I hope the NDP's role in keeping sock boy above water comes back to hurt them in the next election.

Good afternoon to you sir, I hope that the election results at least have given you a wee bit of a lift today and those who matter to you are well.

Thanks for the link to Rex's article, as usual it's spot on or at least in my opinion.

It's interesting how the CBC has turned on Mr. Murphy since he's retired and begun to speak his mind. To say they're demonizing him is just the beginning.

Nonetheless, it's the truth he's written and it could be no more plain than that.

Let's hope enough of our fellow Canadians are waking up.

All the best and thanks once more.

Interesting to see how Jagmeet maneuvers through this --- demanding that Johnston be fired and then saying he will not go to the extent of outing Trudeau until such time as the election process can be trusted. That man is a jackfish from a warm lake slimy.

Nothing will happen with Jagmeet on this --- all pandering smoke to try and keep his orange koolaid voters happy.

... the Coalition and Chairman Trudeau will be around for a long long time ... Chinese backing and hacking will make sure of that ... Poilievre is a DOA non-starter politically ... looks like a younger version of Preston Manning the old Reform Party boss ... not many gun owners swallowing the CPC BS after O'Tooles treachery ... nobody believes Poilievre will repeal a single word of anti-gun legislation or revoke the ban OIC ... Canadian gun owners are truly between a rock and a hard place politically

As one who resides south of the medicine line, I can certianly relate. All the best to you and your fellow Canadians wise enough to recognize depravity for what it is.
