Unfortunately, I did not see any statement of the actual cause of death as a conclusion.

Cross sections of left ventricular, right ventricular, and interventricular septal myocardium are examined and show the expected microscopic architecture, with readily visible boxcar nuclear changes in the septal and left ventricular sections. Cross sections of coronary arteries, though not all ideally oriented, confirm the gross impression of atherosclerotic narrowing. Guy had Sickle cell as well and was a walking pharmacy, how was he able to even stand up?

Folks, I'll catch hell for this, but as you well know, I don't let that keep me from saying what I want to say. I think in this case I'll simply ask questions and encourage law enforcement or legal professionals to answer them.
When a law enforcement officer takes custody of someone, do they have a duty of care for that person?
If the answer is yes, what is the general standard of that care?
If the answer is yes, what was the departmental specific standard of care for the specific set of circumstances of Floyd's case?
If you cannot answer those questions or you do not have a basic understanding of the duty of care an officer has to those in his custody, you'll never understand the jurors decision.
Let's play with those questions for a bit and see where it takes us.

Let's play with those questions for a bit and see where it takes us. Is is murder? "causes the death of a human being with intent to effect the death of that person or another, but without premeditation" Is that what Chauvin did? It's what he was convicted of, 2nd degree murder. Anyone that has ever been through custody/control training has been restrained just like Floyd was. I have. I'm not dead. I could breath. Wasn't comfortable but it's not supposed to be. I will concede I didn't use fentanyl or meth during training...... How about the officers that were just conducting crowd control? They were convicted as well, which is insane. It's the reason nobody wants to be a cop anymore or use force if they are a cop. It's not worth going to prison.

Hey Paul, what's intent? And why might it be important in that 2nd degree murder Statute?
