My younger sister (by 7 years) wasn't a lib, she was just non-political. THEN she had kids. Once she saw what was happening in the school system she became HARD CORE conservative. I laughed when she commented to me "I can't believe anyone would vote for Bush."
If anyone in my family is a lefty I'm not aware of it. I do have a nephew that was a gunnery sergeant, he's almost as conservative as me.

There are two types of people on this earth.

Americans.

And fugking idiots.

If there are, they’re keeping it well hidden.
Our family reunions would be a really poor choice to let that character flaw be known.

Haven't seen my brother's brother in over 3 years. They all need killing even if they're your brother or sister.

I told his wife after be buried my dad that there was no reason for me to ever go back to Utah.

She was a bit hurt and said what about your Sister , Niece and Nephew.

I told her that my Niece and Nephew do not even know who I am and my Sister told me to get my stuff out of her house or she would throw it in the trash.

She inherited the house.
She use to call me on my birthday and can not be bothered to even do that the past 2 years.

I still call her and I do not know why.

When I get water on my place in Arizona.
I will be inviting my Niece and Nephew and their family's to come camp out if they would like to.

Its actually allot easier than you think. Don't discuss politics. Just because you don't agree politically with someone does not make them your enemy. If they insist on discussing politics then constantly interrupt them and tell them you are not interested in discussing politics. Keep doing it until they get annoyed enough to stop or walk away. Its important to do that because if you just walk away, they will try again later. You have to train them. My family is politically diverse ranging from the most liberal to the most conservative. My father voted for Jimmy Carter and my mother voted for Ronald Reagan. We all get along great and would do anything for each other. We have family dinners, spend holidays together, and even go on family vacations together and no one avoids anyone. We don't discuss politics and we get along great. On family vacations, we don't even watch the news. My SIL sneaks back into her bedroom and turns on Fox News when she needs a fix. The rest of us don't watch the news. The goal of news these days is to upset the audience and why ruin a vacation watching that garbage. We have great vacations and continue to have them every year.

I lost my sister to liberalism this past Christmas. It was her decision. It's sad, but I'm glad she made that decision.

My 6 year-old daughter. She keeps talking about “sharing” whenever I open a soda. I told her that sharing is a form of wealth redistribution, which is socialist and we don’t play that in America.

Have a sil who hates republicans especially President Trump or anyone who mentions his name. I ask her why she hates him. Typical answer he a rapist a bully, nothing ever sustainable when i question her on high gas prices open border anything wrong it is always trumps fault.
My answer is to always where aTrump shirt or hat when i know she coming over or have my hats on display strategically. And for some reason my Trump 2024 flag is always up

Wife’s brother married a lib. She is a miserable, hateful nutcase. She rarely speaks to any of us, so it doesn’t pose much of a problem to me. No idea how he puts up with her though.
