Has anybody checked out the complete uppers at Grendel Hunter? I’ve been eyeballing the 18 fluted with a cerakoted barrel. got one in 6mm ARC, shoots very well. Shots 8, 9 and 10 during sight in with factory 103 ELDX ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/AfvX6TL.jpg) That looks good! 18" barrel? What does it weigh out at? That’s the only hesitation on the ar platform is the weight. I’ll be carrying it in and out of the woods. I had been searching for a proof research contour carbon in the Grendel for a component build, but the 18" seems pretty scarce.

I bought one have not shot it yet seems nice. Will report when I shoot it, too busy fishing now!

Atheris and pretty decent and hit a more comfortable price point
I have 4 Grendels and love the round!
I would forget about a cheap upper at the cost of ammo and components.
If you are gonna pay that much per round, you may as well make ‘em count.
