Just bought myself a 308 788 a couple days ago.


18 1/2 inch barrel with a nikon prostaff 3-9x40 scope.

Nice! Looks to be a custom stock and threaded barrel. (I'd ditch the brake though)

Not 100% sure that's a break since I haven't received the rifle yet.
Up here in canada minimum barrel length is 18 1/2.

So the 18 1/2" is including the muzzle devise? It looks like has holes around it so I assumed it's a break. Whatever it is, it's a good looking 788.

The 788 is a really nice rifle and odds are good that it will shoot very well for you. I've owned the 308 & 6mm LH 788's and regret selling both of them.

Thanks! Yeah, from what I've read they shoot real good with a load tat the rifle likes.
