Purchased 200 rounds of Mackay_Sagebrush 170 grain 357 magnum ammo. This load will do anything and everything that a 357 magnum is capable of.
I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

I bought some from him awhile ago, have not shot them yet. But i do expect them to get the job done.

I picked up a few boxes from him a while back, mainly to try out in a couple of .357 rifles (20" Rossi, 18.5" 77/357). I've been remiss in running them over a chrono to see what velocity they would be getting....I need to put some of the other rifles away for a little while and test those. I'll post the results when I do.

I've been shooting some 170 gr Federal Hammer Down bonded hollow point ammo - it's impressive.
Also some 180 grain cast flat nose Buffalo Bore ammo. Whoo Whee! That stuff rocks from either a handgun or a lever action.
Looking forward to the range report from your 170 grain Mackay Sagebrush ammo!
Regards, Guy

Use the 180 gr. HDY XTP in both the 6-1/2" Ruger Blackhawk and 77/357, over a max charge of H110.
No complaints.
