He was in two good movies I can think of right off. An HBO movie called Flashpoint and he played in The Eagle Has Landed.

The movie Flashpoint is a neat story about a border patrol guard played by Kris Kristofferson finding a Jeep buried in a creek bed with a box full of money and an a scoped Italian Carcano and a skeleton.

He always came across as a decent man. Never heard him weigh in on politics, or involved in typical hollywood scandals.

RIP.

One of my favorite movies of his was "Why Would I Lie?"

Very sad. I remember him and considered him a fine actor. Regarding motorcycles, I owned one in 1973, which I rode to work each day when weather permitted. My best friend also did the same. One morning as he was enroute to work an 18 wheeler traveling next to him, traveling in the same direction, changed lanes and ran over him. He died immediately. Trucker said he never saw him.
