For those who may be interested in the hows and whys, here's the original post. You can read what was written and the replies and go from there. I find the year interesting if one knows of what was transpiring in the US at the time. The late 40's and early to mid 50's was a time in our history that many prefer not to talk about. Being born in that era I can remember my Dad and some Uncles talking about what they had heard or read. One relative, a GS17, knew some of what was going on. He was quite an interesting fellow to talk to and had some very interesting acquaintances who helped him attain his GS17 position.
The late 40's into the mid 50's is a time in our history I recommend folks to research. Lots of things happened in those years that were not of the norm, nor have they been discussed much until recently.
