That's what I did. One Case Trapper in stainless, and one in regular steel.

Croc my oldest son shot last month with 3 of my deceased dad's Case knives. He had a bunch of them. 1 carbon, 1 SS , and 1 dimascus.

Now that's a good idea. Honestly I can't tell much difference in stainless or carbon; I own several of each, including my grandfathers trapper which carved God only knows how many sling shot stocks from my grandmother's apple tree.
