Poor ‘ole Walgreen’s has been struggling for years. They closed 200 stores in 2015 and about 200 stores in 2019. Their problems stem from over prescribing opioids in many states, theft, lawsuits (had to pay San Francisco $230 million due to their opioid role in ‘23, etc, etc, etc…

Poor Walgreen’s, but with nearly 9,000 stores, this is just a small drop in their bucket, well below ten percent of their total stores affected…
