I know I've started a few threads about it, & participated in many more. But there are so many vodka's.

Luksosowa, suggested here. A polish potato that's really good, cheaper than the popular potato, Chopain. Hell it's not as available but it's cheaper than Tito's & as cheap as Stoli. WAY cheaper than Grey Goose & not much more than the so called Costco copy. It's just good. It's smooth, scary, almost too easy to drink.

Just a PSA, High Plains Drifter just came on, & I might catch something new this 24th viewing might produce.

Oregon Grain Growers makes a huckleberry-infused vodka called Jubilee Vodka. Best I’ve had. Really hard to find outside of Pendleton, OR.

Luksosowa is great.

Regional on many. Blue Ice,,, a potato vodka from Idaho. Now don't that make sense. Been looking for it for 2 years. Seems for now I'll have to go to Ohio to buy it.

Local potato vodka is our go-to, but when there aren’t Russian boycotts, Beluga is the best.

When Tito’s went woke, I started drinking REYKA. It’s good. I’m having one as I type.

Bourbon is just flavored vodka.

Russian Standard was a favorite when I lived in Kazakhstan.

Never seen Luksosowa in a store, much less tried it.

Chopin is my #1 as it is in POland; Stoli, Belvedere, Russian Standard, Svedka, Absolute, Ketel are all good; Reyka, IMHO, is not special.

Tito's is schitt, as has been said.

Kept in the freezer, drink over a little ice.

Belvedere Vodka

Made from only Polska rye, purified water and a distillation process by fire, Belvedere contains zero additives, and is produced in accordance with the legal regulations of Polska Vodka that dictate nothing can be added.

Stumbras Lithuanian vodka

Chopin and Belvedere are my favorite potato and rye vodkas. Lucsusova (it means luxury in Polish) is also very good. Sobieski is often called Baby Belvedere and is a good in expensive vodka that works great in mixed drinks. I drink vodka from the freezer over ice or on occasion with club soda and lime.

Just ran out of Gordon's for my martini's, 7X will fill in.

I really can't stand the stuff.

It is but the Platinum is incredible and worth the small jump in price.

I buy Sobieski. Not top shelf but I like it.

I mix mine most of the time, so whatever you have is fine. I like something a bit better when that crazy woman decides that we should do lemon drops.

I much prefer Irish whiskey or good rum neat.

Doubt anyone here has tried it.

Weird maybe, but I've learned things about vodka that I would've never thought would make a difference, but it does to me.

A couple things I've observed.
I avoid corn based. Vodka rarely gives me a hangover but I feel a bit rough the next day after having Tito's or Costco American, both corn.
I avoid rye based. A milky after taste that some applaud, not me. That leaves out an otherwise great one, Belvedere. Or, top rated in it's price range, Svedka.

Being picky & a brokedick really narrows the field, but I like what I do, & feel comfortable paying for. Not likely any Ciroc or Crystal Head on the menu here.

Tito’s and Costco vodka is fugking dog schit.

Crystal Head is dynamite and makes a great M&M jar for the office.

Costco Imported passes a lot of test, 20 bucks for a handle.

I like Oregon Springs cheap Vodka. Makes a good Moscow Mule.

Mixed with MD20/20 orange for the win!

Bring 2 pounds of flaked wheat to a boil, remove from heat and add 6 pounds of sugar. when cooled add 2 ounces of distillers yeast then wait for the bubbling to stop about 5 days later.

Strain out the wheat, run it through your still. Should come out at 150 proof, but I cut it down to 90 with distilled water.

Let it soak with 2 cups of activated charcoal for a few weeks to get rid of the sharp, boozy bite that so many home brews have.

Filter it so its clear, and enjoy on ice.
