Anybody that believes in climate change is a rube. It's a doorway to more control and communism. Like the jab, this is all about power and money. [bleep] the little people.
I agree, other than I'd add the caveat "man caused".
The climate IS changing, as it has changed over centuries and eons.
Otherwise we'd still be in the ice age.

Those who believe climate change is due to mankind's influence are the most self-important people I know of.
For example, the "Save the trees" folks are rabid about saving every little seedling.
That mindset is the root cause of the HUGE forest fires we have now.
Nearly 342,000 acres burned in my neighborhood last year, as a result of this thinking - really helped the spotted owl out, didn't it?
Mt St Helens , and other volcanoes spew out what quantity of noxious gasses a year?
But it's mankind's fault - yeah right!!!!
Kinda hard to regulate Mother Nature, though. laugh

I believe, as do many, that it is the "balance" that is important.

GG took a link from Slay news that went to Reuters, the "original" story which contained next to nothing. So how Slay got where they did with that, I don't know. Unless you have the patience to find a full transcript, keep in mind there were no quotes in the Slay story that I would call a dinger, nor was there anything of substance from Reuters.

But if there was just one steak left on earth after everyone's eating cricket protein cake, John Kerry hopes to eat it.

There is no possible way you’ll be able to understand this, but these hero’s of yours don’t give a single f uck about greenhouse gas or anything else other than crowd control (you included dummy) corporate control and consolidation.

10-12%+ 1/3 of 100% (33%) = 43-45%. I’m thinking they want to stop farming or kill off the population!

The Dutch government just collapsed over their plan to force thousands of farmers out of business and slaughter a bunch of cattle to meet EU climate goals. The farmers didn’t much care for that notion and showed it in the last election. Looks like new elections in the Fall.

Didn’t know this previously, but Dutch farmers are incredibly productive and successful. That their government would ever consider changing that and making the people more dependent on outside food supplies shows how fugged up they are. We have a lot of similar jokers here.

Amazon’s top technology officer told the United Nations this week that people will need to eat more fish and less beef if they want to protect the environment, and said artificial intelligence is a tool that is already helping to make that happen.

"We need to shift the protein," Vogels said. "And we know… how damaging cattle farming is, not just because of the amount of food that it needs, but the impact on the environment that it has."

"If we want to reduce that impact, we will need to move to consuming fish as our main source of protein," he said.

To shift that dramatically to fish, more efficient fish farms are needed.

Actually, the majority of greenhouse gas is water vapor, not carbon dioxide. Clouds to be exact in visible form.

Regarding climate change, it is certainly real but that it is man's fault is where I call it the big lie.

On John Kerry, I have always held the not very humble opinion that he is just a pompous ass in love with the sound of his own voice.

I'm only 45 but I've been raising crops and livestock my whole life. I think I'm pretty darn good at it but I learn new things in my occupation all the time. It seems people who don't have a clue on what or how we produce for this nation have it all figured out. We evolve every year and are getting better at producing with less pollution and imputs. There's lots of rules and regulations we have to follow to stay in business. I just wish people were more informed and less ignorant on what we do. When we take a vacation to Mexico, it's fun to answer questions by the clueless masses and I've actually changed some people's perspectives on agriculture.

Question for greyghost:

What do you think the following policies do to farmers and ranchers?
Increased dependence on foreign oil/ increased fuel prices.
Increased dependence on foreign oil/ increased fertilizerprices.
Increased environmental restrictions.
Promotion and following of green movement
Religiously following the global-warming playbook

All those things absolutely go directly towards weakening ag producers leading them closer to being unable to continue.
