Nice!
Very nice rifles in some beautiful country!
This is such a great thread. I think I've actually gone through all 181 pages. I don't think I missed any. What I like best is not only the pics of the rifles, but seeing them in everyone's individual countryside settings.
Beautiful! Just Beautiful! My feelings exactly!

The Mauser up on a high mountain says it all IMO of a rifle pic with a story! Outstanding!

The gun itself doesn't compare to the beauties in this thread but, it performs beautifully. And I kind of like this picture.
Think. It's not illegal, yet.

How about a 39A on a log?

A pair of 700s. A .280 CDL SF, and an American Wilderness Rifle in 30-06. Two bull elk on the far hillside behind the .280 and on the wrong side of the fence posts... Two nice 'uns!

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

My 458 Lott that I built on a tuned MRC action and magazine with a 26" .90 muzzle barrel, Bastogne Walnut stock, pillar bedded, 100% glass, Madagascar Ebony tip, plugs, cap and steel wrist reinforcing rod, with NEGW sights, on S4s juniper fence boards.

Had a neighbor stop by last week, I sure want to shoot a heavy rifle one day, I have a 500 Smith pistol and it is great .... Look under that rifle, that is a big gun, yep, it is a 458 Lott look under and behind it, now open the blue MTM box, it had 100 of the 500 grain solids in it, at about 2,450 fps each. Now, It will change your mind and rearrange your dental x-ray pictures all at the same time.
Nope, I do not think I want to shoot that....OK. :-) Very quick way to put an end to all that macho mess.
