I don't have any.

Car went in a creek, they all were lost

My deer rifle (Rem 700 BDL SS 30.06, Weaver rings/bases, Vari-XIII 3-9x40) and my AMT Backup II .380

laugh

I'd rather go afield with my Rem Classic .17 Remington (and carry more ammo!) and my HK USPc .40 S&W, but that's well over 1k

I've got about 2k through the Dagger, 250 through the Andro (half with the 3x micro prism).

If be comfortable using it to repel pissed off seal team commanders.

What do you have under 1k that you'd use for a social situation?

No lights or BUIS?

Surefire has a spot, but, no, is not my actual "go to" setup. It's my "spare that's elsewhere" setup

I could throw Magpul mbus sights on it, but it's an etched reticle prism on a range toy, so why?

This is the "I don't want to get shot for my gear" or "I don't care if it goes in an evidence bag" set up.

Wow, mine did too. A boat hit a bridge piling.

What a coincidence.

Do you really think that those guns won’t go bang or hit what they’re pointed at from across the living room?

I like “Gucci guns” but they’re not needed or even always best for a gun that’s going to sit in an evidence locker. BBQ guns and collectible’s aren’t needed for self defense. Glock and AR’s have been around for decades and it’s no trick to build something based off of them that is reliable for home and self defense.

I’ve got too many SHTF combo’s to list, but my Springfield Hellcat 9mm I paid $499 for and my Diamondback AR-15 I got on sale for $499 wouldn’t be a bad choice. Both have been Uber reliable and both are very accurate too.

If I was gonna go really cheap, I could always go with my Tisa 1911A1 in 45 acp, I paid $289 for along with my 1970’s era Remington 870 Police Riot Gun I bought at an estate sale for $300 in unissued like new condition.
Like Digital Dan mentioned, buckshot is never a bad choice.

If I raised the $$$$ limit to about $2000, I’d choose my Glock 19X along with my Remington Heavy Barreled Varmint weight 18” AR-15 with a Leupold VXR 4x12. 🤠

Good Thread Goalie! 👍🏻

The bar will have to be raised for me to play. The ACOG alone breaks that.
