Dude up in Fredericksburg carried a Winchester model 70 his uncle had willed him in the gunrack in his pickup for years... until he found out the serial number was "1". Winchester still scratching their heads trying to figure out how that gun ever left the factory.

I don't know...

I was riding back from town with my friend John about 6-8 months ago...

He crossed a yellow line or something... Blue lights flipped on behind him...

Stand check L&I... "You been drinking? etc."

Second cop on my side quartering... asked if I had a weapon.

"As in just one?" was my response.

Cops hesitated a second or two and then started laughing.

Generally, a 204.
Soon to change to my 243 for the duration of big-game season.
Often, also a 22LR or 17 HMR in the back seat.

I have a friend by the name of Kevin Marlborough, he hails from County Clare, Ireland. One of his "sayings" goes something like this.

"A lie, well told, will serve as good as the truth, any day."

I am also often reminded that it is the element of truth that makes humor funny.

Best,

GWB

I don’t leave it in the truck, but, when I leave town it’s usually in the truck.

Kimber Montana w/1:8 Lilja in 22-250 @ 22” shooting 75gn A-Max topped with a 2.5-10x42 NXS w/IHR reticle. It’s a good “whatever shows itself” rifle and very easy to grab and go as need or opportunity present.

When school is out and I don't have to go on school grounds I always have a shotgun in the truck. But when school is in I don't. Felony to have a gun on school grounds. Not worth the risk

Jon, it's a cab tractor, you can't see the air ride seat because the throttle column is blocking the seat in the photo.

Here's a cab photo of my other tractor. Same setup.

Good thing that law exists. Wouldn't want a madman to ever bring a gun to a school.

Lesson: Don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.

"Justin Young, was assaulted and then shot after confronting a reckless driver on July 16."

The goblin will spend a decade living on the state's dime, get out and drive recklessly again.

Terribly sad.
