Four Roses or Knob Creek. Surprised Woodford Reserve isn't on there.
I have a free bottle of Penelope on the way in a couple of weeks so hopefully that won't disappoint. If it does then I'll use it as a mixer. I like Four Roses Small Batch but Woodford Reserve is what I drink 90% of the time.

Well there might be about 5 on your list I haven’t tried, but 3 of my go-to favorites are on there.
Buffalo Trace Four Roses (any bottle) WT Rare Breed
I also favor Russells Reserve 10 year or Frey’s Ranch for about $10 bucks over your price cut off.
Happy Sippin! 🥃

Good list. I'd go with these 5
2. Eagle Rare 3. Four Roses Single Barrel 10. Wild Turkey Rare Breed 15. Buffalo Trace 18. Four Roses Small Batch
Although, a couple of those are not under $50 here.
I didn't see WT 101, but that's another one.

In my cabinet now, are Four Roses Single barrel and Small Batch, Blanton's, Weller, Rare Breed, Eagle Rare, Old Fitzgerald, Elijah Craig, Bookers, Russell Reserve 10, Buffalo Trace, Larceny, Bulleit, Old Forrester 1920 and Statesman. Always on the lookout for something else.

I no longer drink but I think Bulleit should be a part of this conversation.

I wouldn't leave Jefferson's Small batch out of the mix.

I had New Riff Straight Bourbon Whiskey Bottled in Bond at a bar next to an Evan Williams Straight Bourbon Whiskey and it sucked compared to the Evan.
The New Riff Single Barrel, however, is a different, much better pour.

Four Roses Small Batch Select, non-chill filtered is mighty fine.

Four Roses single barrel is more like $65 in these parts, but a very good one in my opinion. Small batch is good as well. Maybe in Alaska, but it's in the mid-40$ in California. One of the best on the list. Maker's Mark 46 is also quite good. I'd add Angel's Envy.

I'm not really a bourbon drinker, Even though I'm from Ky. But, Jim Beam usually gets good praise, and sometimes even Early Times. Just in case some readers don't know, the cheap Early Times is not bourbon. It is a "bottom shelf" blend. The good one is Early Times Bottled in Bond Bourbon.

I forgot about Bottled in Bond.
Why do I have to press 1, for English?

Four Roses Small Batch Select, non-chill filtered is mighty fine. I'm drinking that tomorrow night. Tonight is scotch night (Clynelish 14).

I am a big fan of New Riff. Our local bourbon club does barrel picks with them, and those are always really good. Of course the other bourbons on the list are also good.
