I need an extractor for a 336.
What is the best place to locate one, and who preferably will ship to Canada?

Brownell's used to carry them. I don't know if they still list them or not. Might be worth a try.

Looked at Brownells. If they had them, I couldn't find them.

Looked at Brownells. If they had them, I couldn't find them. If Numrich doesn't have them, you might go to the Marlin Owners site and ask if anyone knows where you might buy one. https://www.marlinowners.com/forums/Good luck. L.W.

What is the best place to locate one, and who preferably will ship to Canada? I found a couple on ebay a few years ago. Just checked and there are some right now.

Knowing a year would help, they aren't all the same.

Western Gun Parts is in Edmonton. Extractors are not listed on their Website. Just per chance, I called them early Tuesday morning. They had used ones in stock. I ordered two, just in case (I'm not feeling lucky). The extractors arrived Wednesday afternoon. Pretty good service.
Life got in the way, but I've now installed a working extractor. The rifle cycles way better without the old extractor. I cleaned the bore and the chamber. I finally made it to the range and fired 3 more shots. Each case stuck in the chamber and was driven out with a cleaning rod. It would appear it does not like this Winchester ammo.
My friend has a late 70s 336. He said one type of ammo would stick but others cycled fine. He can't remember the specifics. My rifle is supposed to be 1974 manufacture.
I'll have it looked at and try some different ammo.
The seller says he will take it back for full refund. I like it and ain't done yet.

One option, if it works, is to have it recorded to 360 Buckhammer. I am intrigued by that caliber.
This is if the 30-30 is no go.
