In my opinion, what will take Mr. Trump down will be his own words and actions combined with testimony from close associates who flip on him. They’ll be critical for establishing that, for example, he did in fact know he lost the election but then went ahead with his predetermined plan (there’s a thread for this, see link below) to steal it.

Meadows will be the Big Flipper, but even though it’s patently obvious he has due to the enormous void labeled “Meadows” in the election-thieving indictments… it’s not official yet. I’ll update when it is. Pence is an interesting case. He’s just going to tell the truth; I don’t know if that really counts as flipping as he’s not accused of anything.

But this guy, he’s a flipper, and it’s official. Teveras was the director of IT at Mar-A-Largo. D’oh. He’s testifying Trump directed him to erase the security tapes showing the boxes getting moved around by Nauta. Yikes. That’s illegal AF.


The aide — described as “Trump Employee 4” in public court filings but identified elsewhere as Yuscil Taveras — held the title of director of information technology at Mar-a-Lago. He initially testified to a grand jury in Washington, D.C., that he was unaware of any effort to erase the videos, but after getting the new attorney “immediately … retracted his prior false testimony” and detailed the alleged effort to tamper with evidence related to the investigation of the handling of classified information stored at Trump’s Florida home, the new submission said.

A question on security tapes. If I have a unit on my property, do I have the right to determine what is retained or removed?

I can see a higher authority if those units are part of a federally funded security program.
