A Question for the thinkers

Maui sent all the kids home from school some with out the parents even knowing that they were sent home.
This has been reported.

They stated in a news cast that kids were found dead with their hands around their pets.
Most of the other kids were vaporized with no trace of them.

Here is the question
Would it be to far fetched that most of the missing kids that they said were vaporized were actually trafficked and shuffled off to who knows were before or while the fires were going on.

The Fires would make for great cover and an excuse for the missing children and no one would be trying to find them ?

Maybe I am just crazy for thinking of such a conspiracy
