That +P 9mm has been a solid choice for a lot of guys.

Very deep penetrating load. I started using it as an all around load for in my vehicles when going to urban areas as well as GP outdoor purposes.

What’s you feelings on using the 148 grain hard cast in my daily carry pistols?

I’ve shot your ammo through each Glock and none had any issue running them. Accuracy was excellent as well.

I switched to the 148+Ps hard cast penetrators full time back a couple years ago. Back when all the "Mostly Peaceful" protestors felt justified in pulling innocent people out of cars and beating them, as well as people were getting mowed down in crowds by crazies in cars, plus the mobs using shields, and other forms of hard barriers.

These penetrate hard cover quite well. I know JWP tested these in 20% gel and they penetrated in FEET versus inches like a hollowpoint does. Plus I tested them against freshly slaughtered cow skulls and they went clean through. They performed great, so I started using them as a "Trail and Town load. Between the great accuracy and better control versus a heavier caliber, cartridge, they make a lot of sense in many applications.

Plus Glock makes a factory 24 round mag that is not stupidly large/long and fits easily in a pocket or on the belt, so with 15+1 or 17+1 and a 24 round reload, it makes for a very formidable carry package in practical terms.

I keep a G19 and with light and flashlight available , with reload available as an option around the house.
