Wow. Very nice indeed. I hear a little Carlos in there and no doubt some SRV. But to label the music I’d just say “This is them”. Good music doesn’t have to live in a box with an 8 sided label. It’s them and them alone. I’d love to see their show. (Started to say “see them live” but why see them dead?).

At one point, seeing & hearing the bass & the lead matching & gettin it on had me beating on the desk. Something new to me, a treat.

So was that a 6 string bass ? Too, I first thought they were like the Little ‘ol 3 Piece Band from Tejas until I saw the keyboard hombre. Still, that’s a lot of sound from 4 guys.

And to think, it used to just be called Rock ‘n Roll.

5 string maybe, but I notice stuff like that from the normal 4 string & ain't got a clue about bass playing much. But when I see a 5 string I try to listen for extra sounds & figure the bass is gonna be a bigger part of the whole. It sometimes is. He said with 70 year old ears.

Like or dislike all? Of course not. But put up Aerosmith, Ten Years After, Santana, Allman Brothers, Rolling Stones, Los Lonely Boys, Humble Pie. It’s all rock n roll to me while being different one to another. Guess it gets down to what you say about liking some more that others. Then you get into the Billy Joel, Elton John types that some “Classic Rock” stations push, I don’t see a lot of rock n roll there at all but can’t argue against it being talent on display. JMHO.
