Anyone think the Tikka Veil Widelands are worth the extra money over regular Stainless or SuperLites? I thought I read where they have a bigger barrel diameter and maybe weigh slightly more. I think it comes down to balance and aesthetics. I’m ok with stainless and black. The ones I have, a 223 and 243, balance and shoot well. If I was going to get a heavier barrel profile, I’d probably go all the way to CTR.

Are the Tikka Superlite rifles still being manufactured? Tikka's website shows the Superlite as an option, but most places show just the Lite version in stock. I am wanting to buy a new rifle, and would like to stay in the 6.5-7 lb range (scoped). I was thinking the Tikka Superlite in 7mm-08 would be a great all around do all gun. I have a superlite in 7mm rem mag and it has been my favorite gun to hunt with. No matter how much ones spends and ive spent a bunch on others, you couldnt find something better. The gun is one of the most accurate rifles ive ever owned, one of the best triggers and is a damn joy to carry all day.

Crazy thing is I have 2 different hand loads that it shoots the same POI with too.
