So you ran him down until exhaustion. How sporting.
Way to cast hunters in a poor light.
Nothing to be proud of. I would have run him down sooner, but he wouldn’t give up. It’s a great pastime if you aren’t a loser! Laffin….Gotta love those Canadian’s who have a poster of Trudeau above their bed. Nice work, Shrap! 🦫

Nothing to be proud of. It’s a coyote. And you don’t think that coyote ever chased down anything to exhaustion and killed it? ? It’s a coyote. I’ve let them drag their guts over a snowdrift without pursuing. My point was it’s a coyote. Who cares if it was tired lol You re an ass - kill them clean, or quickly finish if not..... I've no problem with running them down or killing them.. but as cleanly as possible!

That is legal in some states and is an accepted way of killing coyotes for many. Some guys build special hoopties for running over rough ground. Just because it isn't done in Canada doesn't mean it is bad for others in their locales. May not be your cup of tea, but if it is legal and Shrap finds himself in a position to do what he did and chooses to do so, then who is in a position to pass judgment on the act? I say rock on!

Nothing to be proud of. The OP stated he went one for three. Sounds pretty sporting giving the edge to the coyote. Personally I’ve put one pickup and a quad in the ditch attempting the same stunt. Keep up the good work Shrapnel.

I've taken coyotes and a couple of feral hogs with my Bronco. It has enough HP and acceleration to catch up with varmints and smush them. Just me- I prefer to have fawns and turkeys and game birds and small edible game thrive than varmints
An old man I bowhunted with years ago told me about the old wolf bounty days when his daddy and uncles would bait big fishhooks on a piece of chain and catch wolves that way, similar to gator hunters. Paid the bills and fed the family and saved the livestock that way

Nothing to be proud of. I would have run him down sooner, but he wouldn’t give up. It’s a great pastime if you aren’t a loser! Good, clean fun! And maybe saved some huns in the process. I come by it naturally, my ancestors were not great examples of sporting hunters either… Your ancestors were Bison?….I’ve never met anyone with Bison blood. 😂 You may need to hit your life alert button you’ve probably fallen and struck your head on something. Indians are chasing the buffalo, which is obvious to most viewers… We definitely need a sarcasm button here on the 'Fire... Either way, good shoot IMO. I'm sure no Canadian has ever ran down a rabbit with a snowmobile either... ~sarcasm~

Nothing to be proud of. It’s a coyote. And you don’t think that coyote ever chased down anything to exhaustion and killed it? Funny how THAT works. Coyotes are vermin. Sure like your pictures Shrap.

To all the woke cry Karens, you have to get nasty with varmints. Whatever it takes on a coyote. I chased one down on my gator the other day and 20 gauged him. If you've ever drove up on one of your cows trying to calve and there is a few coyotes chewing on her ass you'd feel the same way. As far as shooting from a vehicle, I'll pop one every time. All the ranchers in this area would scald you if you didn't. Great job shrapnel. Bit why did you stop at one? You got two barrels lol.

It was legal to chase coyotes in Kansas when I grew up there in the 60s. It may still be legal there. I chased a few back in the day and shotgunned them. Lots of people chased them and shot them and some chased and turned loose grey hounds on the coyote. I knew one guy that was the gunner in a coyote chase. The driver hit a huge gully, the gunner was ejected from the truck and was killed. These days, I prefer the challenge of calling them. Calling is a lot easier on vehicles.
