I was just gonna post about this also. They have an ungodly amount of .303 Savage brass left - and it's Norma brass at that!!

I placed an order for a bunch of stuff and the process is kind of convoluted. You fill your shopping cart and check out. Then they send you an email assigning a purchase order to it. Next step is you call them with your Purchase Order number in hand and your CC info, whereupon the ordering is finished and they'll mail your stuff. You cannot call them to place an order, has to be created online. Calling to pay has to be done between 7AM-12:30PM Pacific Time, Wednesday through Friday only. Calling any other time won't work. Warning: this sale is known about far and wide and they're flooded with orders - be patient. Stuff is disappearing from the place rapidly - I'm only able to actually get about half of what I ordered - so don't wait.

I placed an order online, and they called me. But it took several days.. they are swamped.

When I talked to the girl who answered the phone yesterday she sounded like she was at the end of her rope!

Yeah, I was going to grab some of that 25 Rem brass, until I saw the antiquated ordering process and decided to pass. Order, then call to process payment once you have a PO? Nah... I lived through 1997 before.

I received my phone call today. I only ordered 200 303 brass

Their websites says they will call to finalize sale.
Did you guys call them once you received your P.O.?

No, placed an order and got an email. They called me a couple days later.

Gave them my credit card info over the phone.

Maybe that's why they are going out of business...

They've been in business for 76 years. The current owner is 87 and retiring.

I don't think their business model failed them.

Thanks for the heads up. I placed a purchase order and am waiting for them to contact me for payment. Good deal. I bought a bunch even though I don't currently need them but I will.

Never used norma brass but I hear good things.

I talked with them this morning on an order I put in a few days ago. I've spent a great deal of my adult life going into Huntingtons on Oro Dam Blvd. in Oroville. And every visit always felt like what it would have been if you walked through their front door in 1965. I say that with a high degree of affection and not because I can't move on with the times. But instead because loosing a piece of the "neighborhood" always takes a toll. In conversation I heard two factors for their closing. One was Fred being 87-years old and the other was competition with the internet with Mr. Bezos' name coming to prominence. I'll miss cruising their racks of firearms for lost "average guy" treasures and taking the obligatory walk through Fred's museum in the back to gaze on some truly remarkable treasures of our firearms history.

Well put, Jeff. It's always sad to see an icon from our youth disappear.

I just placed a rather large order. I'll be pleasantly shocked if they actually have in stock what I ordered from their website. I guess time will tell. I had emailed this place a couple months ago about something they listed and no one ever responded. I'm hoping this time I get a response because I can't find this item anywhere else online. Thanks for the info on their ordering process. Without it I would have given up.

Got my order in for 303. Mark put 3 things in his cart and got a “”Sorry, all 3 items are sold out”, e-mail.

I got an order in for 400 .303. Now I need to start looking for a decent rifle. 🤣
They were out of the 7-08 and .35 Rem brass I was looking for.

I ordered 200 pieces of 303 yesterday. With guys saying most of the stuff on their orders was already gone, I just ordered 200 more. We shall see?

I'm not shocked at all. I tried grabbing any 25,30,32 or 35 Remington brass they had listed. Oh well.

Same e-mail for RWS 6.5x55 brass.

Same for RWS 22HP brass.

According to the very nice lady I talked to on Thursday she was the only person who was taking orders and was swamped. Given that their going out of business sale lit up this week on two firearms forums I participate in and that it likely got broadcast across others, it’s simple math figuring out that they likely sold out of everything in a matter of days if not hours! I will miss going into their store as there was always something interesting to be found.

Website down now as of date I'm posting. Just a still picture and note advising out of business and thank you for years of business. Curious did they have any 250/300 Savage brass for sale?

I too had RWS 6.5x55 brass in my cart. Was told by the girl I talked to on Wednesday that it was gone but that she had a stash of 6.5x55 Norma brass for the same price, so I took her up on it.

The didn't list any at the end of last week.

Of course I got called for payment yesterday when I was grouse hunting with my dad. Hopefully I get called on Monday about it.

Thanks to Rory and Gary. I placed an order Thursday, then another Friday. Was in WV with no reception. Sunday I was in a mini mart at 5AM. Had 1 bar, and a voice Mail from Teresa.

DAMNESIA, you can’t call today, they are not answering calls, too many.

The procedure is you send them an email and as soon as it comes in, they call you back, instantly.

Teresa said send her an email but I don't have an address. I responded to the order confirmation email but it wasn't a valid email address.

Was just wondering. I have plenty of both calibers in stock. Bought a bunch back before prices went up, payed like $25-30 per bag before all the craziness went into effect. Don't shoot any of the calibers everyone has posted about.

Any one getting through by email? Teresa said they are not answering phones. Send an email and she will call back immediately. The only email on my order conformation is tealnetguava.com I sent 4 emails and they all came back not found or unable to receive mail. Maybe the email is swamped too?

Are you using the address with an actual @ in it? What you posted above has a synthetic @. If you copy and paste it disappears.

It worked once and now it fails so I guess it's kaput now.

It comes back as "Address not found" or "unable to receive mail". I've got a feeling that's all jammed up too. I had a second order the next day, I hope they call about that one?

I sent an order for 9 different items very early on the 13th (Friday) and received an auto reply that the order was received. No word since. I don't hold much hope that I will get a call.

They allowed stuff to go into the cart that was out of stock.Then thanked you for your order with a order number.Day or two later e-mail said "thank you for your order but it's out of stock".LMAO

Oh well, I figure worse things in life could happen than for me not getting a few more cases.

No, but I was told that might not happen until the end of the month.

Same here... was told the order was confirmed, but they might not ship for a couple weeks.

Rick, I sent in an order for Brass on the 12th, and a second order on the 13th. They said it would be a few days before they called, so I took a chance and went to my place in WV, no cell reception. I had reception until about 6PM Eastern Saturday. Got up at 5AM Sunday and drove to a quick mart the next town over for a cup of coffee. I had one bar and sure enough, a voice mail. I'm holding out hope for a couple more days.

My friends son made some big orders and within minutes he got an email with it "was all out of stock". That was just last Thursday or Friday. Maybe they were getting complaints about the "order confirmations" and then followed up by "out of stock"

Theresa called about noon Eastern time and took my order. She said the shipping is more like a month now. Those that have 303 orders, don't give up, she said they still have that.

I just got a call from her and of course I was in a meeting and missed it.

I missed my call the first time, she called back 2 days later.

This was the second time I missed her call.

She told me when they process my payment they are ready to ship. My payment was processed today.

They hit my account for payment today, as well.

My stuff arrived over the weekend while I was away.

No I have not and at this time I don't expect to.

Received my order today.

I got charged on the 20th for an order placed on the 10th and received the day before yesterday.

Got mine today.

Mine came today as well.
