Done my share over the years. A 22 sure is quick, but it aint easy. Getting a lot harder to do with those old good dogs. Must be that getting older thing that's all I'm gonna say about that. Last one I walked circles in my driveway for 5 minutes talking myself into what I had to do. But at the end of the day my responsibility no one else. Just like it's always been.

Just that....you fugging Pards. Both suck. Rode many dozens of ponies over the years, finally had the scratch and place to have one I always wanted. Got a couple years out of him till I had to make the call. Sucked hard. I cried like a bitch, after, but plugged him and drug him on the trailer. That was the only horse that hit me hard. Dogs? Fûck oh dear. If I weren’t attached they’d be dead or gone. If I had to pick, based on my numbers I’d say easier shooting a horse.

I buried both my dogs in the last 2 months and it was horrible. Had to put ours down a month or so ago, I held him while he got the mercy injection, he died in my arms, nothing harder.
