I have a Menards just down the street from me. They sell Bosch. It's not a major top brand but they work for me and I get 11% off when I buy something from Menards. My needs are simple and if I need a name brand item I borrow my son's Makita's.

All my stuff now is Milwaukee. A while back I bought a couple 5 AM battery knockoffs from Amazon. They don't hold the charge quite as well as OEM but it's acceptable. They fit my drills fine but It's hard to get them on my angle grinder and Sawsall. They don't slide right in and out. They need some 'encouragement'.

Cash, there's a reason Milwaukee is more expensive, I have batteries dated back to 2012 that I'm still using.

Im just the occasional dyi-er.......

My first battery drill in the 90s was a Milwaukee 12v, it perform well....ended up gifting it to an inlaw....interstate battery rebuilt the batteries on that model.

All my 18v stuff is made by makita, no complaints.

Well Cash a big cock is something handy for drilling broads but not to much use drilling boards. So unless you can screw some gal into doing your drilling you be getting after a 20 v dewalt and buy the brushless. mb

I have corded Dewalts... and a few DA sanders... strong medicine.

Never tried the cordless because Black and Decker is 110% brokedick...

...and B&D owns DeWalt

That said, I have a Rigid 120v chop saw that's been flawless for close to 20 years.

Same thing happened to me
Went to Milwaukee and got adapter so I could use Milwaukee batteries on Rigid tools

Failure to comprehend a pardnership will result in a loss of pard status.

Be a pard.
