Preorder available at Midway USA.

I am doing a little research to see how it compares to LabRadar.

ETA:I might regret buying the introductory model of anything. But I have it on back order. Yes, it is a doppler unit.

Cool concept, I'll be interested to hear how it performed. I like the smaller size.

I saw that. Looks like a well thought out unit.

Outdoor life article states that Hornady Ballistics Lab has been testing it alongside their equipment. Said results matched. Question I have is whether it can pick up the sub 22 caliber stuff that the lab radar does not.

Yes it can.

You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

I have a Labradar but this looks pretty slick. I think it’s supposed to read up to 5000 fps and it looks like it’s about 1/4 the size.

I would like to see:

1). Can add to a previous string/session - as in, I set a rifle aside to let it cool, shoot a different rifle, then come back to the first rifle and want to continue my previous session.

2). Detect shotgun shot strings, arrows, small calibers and rimfires.

Lots of other improvements as shown are welcome, and I like and use Garmin products already, but the listed issues are important to me.

It has settings for air rifles and arrows.

In the video I posted it's used with subsonic from a .22 pistol with no problems.

#1 is a major drawback of my Labradar.

For a problem whose solution is as simple as a firmware update and corresponding change in their app, I’m really not sure why they haven’t made that change already. I emailed them with that suggestion several years ago, as I’m sure have several others by now.
