When I lived in Kuna Idaho, our house had a bad spirit in it. The ex wife and I had heard our son and the voice of a little girl over the baby monitor when he would be playing alone in his bedroom. I would also hear banging and crashing with his toys at night thinking he had gotten up to play. I would go into his room and he would be in bed asleep.[/quote]

Kuna, Idaho explains that whole thing. BTW, I was raised in Nampa

Never saw anything weird there, but there was an abandoned cemetery near my former in-laws’ place that had the pictures of the departed under glass on a lot of the headstones. It was all grown up and I used to hunt grouse around it. Those pictures gave me the willies, but now I see that it’s becoming popular again, in color now, along with pointillist images etched into the stone. The ones I’ve seen have all been of young folks. Pretty sad.

My brother died at 20 years age in 1980.

My folks put a pic of him with his heeler dog, shotgun, and a couple pheasants on the stone. I was up there about a year ago. The photo is in surprisingly good condition. Only slightly faded.

As to spirits, ghosts, or other supernatural phenomenon? Nothing within hundreds of miles of here.

We live out in rural Carroll Co Mississippi. Lots of history here.
John Murrell, a famous outlaw who robbed and murdered folks up and down the Natchez Trace; had a campsite in our front yard. It’s know as Murrell Springs on the old maps. There is an old abandoned road about 200 yards away where the farmers in the hills carried their crops to a steamboat landing called Marion Road. He robbed on this road also. Artifacts like pewter plates , leg irons, arrowheads and horse hobbled have been found. His speciality was . Another spot about 1/4 mile over a hill a young took his life by hanging himself. He and his wife were having marital problems and he left the house with an empty 5 gal bucket a length of rope. He made a noose, place it over a limb, secured it to a persimmon tree, put the noose over his head. His last move was to step off the bucket that he was standing on. The wife found him and called the sheriff. BIL was a member of the coroner’s inquest and received a $5 check from the county. It’s also an erie place near an ancient chestnut tree. Grandson used to get spooked when we passed by. Gives you a hair stand up on the back of your neck feeling.

The house we have in Bracken County was quite haunted when we moved in. It had not been occupied since 1982. We bought it in 2001.

Grandpa and Grandma of the owners had lived there. Grandma threw Grandpa out of the main bedroom and he had to go sleep in the little room next door. After we moved in, we all saw at various times, a little old man in his underpants going from the little bedroom to the bathroom next to the kitchen. KYHillChick twice heard someone get up and go, but no one ever came back.

I was sitting out back one night and heard a crowd of people in the dining room, but nobody was there.

Grandpa had two bothersome habits. One is he plays with the attic light. Frequently, we find the attic light on when we know we've turned it off. The other was that he liked to play with the lock on the back door. I'd come down on Friday nights and find the door wide open. I finally fixed that, but putting a hasp and padlock on the back door. He will occasionally still work the deadbolt, but he hasn't found a way to pick the padlock.

Sure thing, Baby Huey.

The Crenshaw House. Formally know as "The Old Slave House". The only place slavery was allowed in Illinois.

People might occasionally leave a ghost wandering around. I don't know. But I'll never believe that underpants can leave a ghost behind.

Any ghost that's real is going to be nekkid.

We've got a ghost. It occasionally throws the breaker when we use the microwave when the coffee pot is turned on.

I don't know about "haunted", but to me, Healy Creek Drainage up by Denali Park has an interesting feel to it.

Not threatening, just old and brooding maybe. The type of place that could become "sacred" to those of that mind set and used for ceremonial functions.

I have performed ceremony there myself. Sometimes I won, sometimes the Dall's sheep evaded my ceremony. smile

I really like that canyon!

Morse Mill Hotel, customer owns it. I’ve been there a few times and nothing monumental but some weirdness. He has some stories about the renovations that are interesting.

Do a search, they have a website it things like that interest you.
