Just a bunch of drama. Israel is going to crush Hamas one tunnel at a time and no country is going to do squat. No Arab country cares two wits about the Palestinian people. It's all talk to placate their home grown radical Muslims. They are not going to risk open warfare themselves. That said, there i going to be increased riots and tensions from the Muslim diaspora. That is going to get much worse.

A good proofreader would have substituted "emerging" for "unforeseen". Sounds more on top of things.

Sounds like it's just CENTCOM's ball. Not the first time operations have led to cancellation in one area or another. I'm sure there will be plenty of birthday balls at other commands around the globe.

Stupid… if you can’t take q night off, you’re not running things correctly. The “duty” crew would be manning the Command center and of they can’t handle it for a while, they shouldn’t be there….
