Traded for one of these the other day on the classifieds. Didn't really want it, but the numbers worked and I got it. I know remington made these in 2008 as a limited run. How many did they make? Any other cdl 260 owners? Big question. What's it worth?

I have one, it's about like any other 260 with a 24" 1-9" ROT barrel.
I don't know how many were made or what they're worth.

I figure it ain't that special. If it were new in box with the box, I'd be more excited about it. I'm gonna toss it in a hs precision, bed it, and hunt it. Wish it were an 8 twist. Will that 9 stabilize a 140?

130s it is then. Prolly try 129 interlocks and 130 accubonds first. You 260 boys like varget or 4350 in that case?

I had excellent results with H4831 and the 129, but it has been a few years and I don't remember the charge off the top of my head. Send a pm to Hondo64D for that load info.

Varget, between 36 and 39 grains, depending on the rifle, has worked well with the 130 grain AB for me. My 260 cases are almost all resized Winchester 243 brass, so other brass is likely to have a different volume.

That rifle really needs a quicker twist. A 140 in that case would be nice. Don't wanna go lower than a 130. I think 2850 could happen. Be a great deer gun.

Don't wanna go lower than a 130. Why? A 120 TTSX or BT will kill anything you wanna shoot with it......

This is true and a 120 is not out of the question. May just have to do that. The old brown ballistic tip would be cool. Little more speed, bet it'd bust 3k.

I shoot the TTSX 120 in my MRC .260, for deer and hogs. 20" barrel, shooting suppressed. I couldn't be happier with it.

I believe it’s 47.8grs, that’s what I’m shooting in my 260 Rem Mountain Rifle with 129’s
When I die I hope I don't start voting democrat.
