Just when you think you know them, they never seem to tire of being a disappointment. Oldest sister abused my invalid mother and the other sister a flaming alcoholic. I'm the youngest and here I am, taking care of mom while these two children of the 70's continue to fucque up everything they touch. Jeezus, I'd hate to live in their skin. Screw that. Who will think of you as the bad guy? A couple of screw ups that are unable to take care of their own lives?…why would you give 2fucks what they think? You’re doing the right thing so don’t worry about what the idiots think. If you go through life trying to please the lowest common denominators you’ll be perennially disappointed.
I know how stressful it can be but I also know how it feels living my life and conducting myself in a way that my Mom’s son should act so that when the curtain closes I KNOW that I did the best I could doing the right thing.
Don’t worry about the peanut gallery, just worry about the things that are important….like tending to that beautiful, smiling lady in your photos. You’re doing a fine thing!
