It is apparent to me that the evolution of the classic hunting rifle has left me behind. I've built some rifles, but I've never attained this level. Thanks for sharing.

Man, I guess. An Amish Machine Gun with See-Thru's actually makes a lot of sense after absorbing the details of that rifle.

I admit to having the bias of a “classic taste” but this is just nauseating.

Just a guide rifle with a funky Boyd's laminate. I had one with the original factory laminate and it was a bit heavy but I liked the 20" barrel with sights.

With all due respect to the owner, it’s pretty d…ed ugly and I’d bet a lot of money was spent to get it that way.

On the bright side, at least he didn't use a Mosin as the donor.

If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

The build… how does one arrive at that point? A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Wow. That's impressive. I once shot a whitetail with a Hawken replica. He turned and ran right at me. No time - I grabbed the hawken by the barrel baseball bat style and got ready. He died at my feet, no clubbing necessary. But, made me think if you ever needed to klonk one between the eyes, that would be a good choice. Maybe add a bayonet.

It's my rifle. You guys don't know what shoots. It's creek proof. It shoots 500 grain salami whizz bangers at 3400FPS and I dropped it 600 feet from a redwood tree and it didn't even get scratched. SO STOP DRIVING THE WHAMBULANCE AND LEARN SOMETHING.

What I don’t get is the designs being put out from the manufacturers these days. New generation of marketing I suppose.

Bb The stock is weird, but its a nice hunting rifle. The price is high for a rifle that needs another stock. BMT

A lot of rimfire shooters seemed to like those oogly things, but now the chassis seems to be winning the race.
