I'm making do with Williams FP and fiber optic sights but age is increasing and eyes are decreasing.

My gun is a pre-angle eject Winchester 94 and it will take an XS Scout Rail if I decide to get it drilled.

Would love to hear people's experiences both good and bad.

Also, did you epoxy the rail in place (per the instructions) and if so, did you see any accuracy problems? (I mean, above and beyond the pin point accuracy that Win94 carbines are known for grin )

Thanks!

I just put a mini pistol 2 MOA red dot {Holosun 407cx2} on one of my 94's this past summer. I'm averaging 1.5" groups with it at 100 yards which is about a half inch better than I can do with my aperture rear/fiber optic front sighted 94 these days.

Black heart is right, the 🔴 helps a lot more than a peep or even a low power scope , for old eyes.

To my mind fitting a long eye relief scope would alter the handling dynamics of the 94. If you’re happy with one of the various compact red dot sights you might want to take a look at the mount made by Turnbull. This one fits on the side using the holes designed for a side mounted peep sight.
