I had a Meyer 46 on my Jeep. Pretty much useless, last two times I used it I just chained it to the backhoe bucket, LOL, Calif is closer to Oklahoma than we think.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

I have a 3/4 ton chev regular cab with a Boss 8' 6" Power Vee and love it. You can actually scoop and stack the snow with it. The 1/2 tons I have had before can't hold a candle to this thing. It is just a dedicated old plow truck and never leaves the township. I would let the dog ride along but I am afraid he would fall through the florrboards.
I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

In the winter of 94-95, Lake Helen in Lassen Natl Park had 83 feet of snow on the level, I bet they had to chain up the old Souper Doody F350 for that.

I’d love a 544 but I don’t need that much. Too much for my 24 inch cub though. Used tractors are insanely priced these days..

The difference between a 1/2 ton and 3/4 is incredible. Most 1/2 ton front ends just can't handle a plow of any size. We always had 1/2 ton junk when we owned the resort and plowed winter roads. If you ever run a 3/4 ton it is night and day difference in what they will push.

Wouldn't plow with a 1/2 ton in the first place. Decent plow (that won't snap off) needs to be carried by a decent set of front springs.
Up hills slow, Down hills fast Tonnage first and Safety last.

Kubota with a 60 "blower on back. A 24" and 36 inch walk behind. A plow does no good. By January here you run out of space to plow the snow to. i
If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and pack saddles
