If it comes in a can, it's colored sugar water, not root beer.

Bundaberg is made in Australia and one of the better root beers

Get some Frosty at Dollar Tree

If it has a name that hard to pronounce, it probably tastes like bark, a witch’s pubic hair, wet dog and worm dirt

I've tried a lot of root beer in my days. By far the best is IBC. Made with cane sugar, nothing can top it, except the price - it's expensive - and worth it.

Mug is my everyday rootbeer, but the best I've had was Abita, made in South Louisiana with corn syrup. But I cannot get much in the way of variety. The absolutely worst is barg's.

The drive-in A&W’s that serve the frosty mugs at your car window are still pretty common around here.

Fast food places usually have Barq's- because it's worse than the bite.

Hires seems easiest to find, but IBC is a lot better.

One thing Genzs can't argue with us Boomers: Back in the day, real root beer was just that. It was made with real sarsaparilla root.
