Nearest club is Sam's 40 miles.

Costco is 100+.

You all talk so much about it, I really want to shop at Costco.
But....when have have been members at Sam's we would only go 2 or 3 times
a year. 200 miles to buy a membership that is just going to be an added cost
on that days bill is just a bit much.

All the Baltimorons and NOVAs moving here could at least bring some better shopping! I'd rather be stuck in the 90s, Murphy Mart and few Baltimorons.

Hah!
You’d be disappointed. It’s just a store. Better than Walmart/Sams, but still just a store.

Our old Sam’s Club is becoming a Costco business center. All of our Sam’s pulled out of Alaska 6+ years ago.

Hell yes. Costco Business Center is a whole mother animal!

They have Cash and Carry down there? That was a good spot.

That’s true when I go to a Costco in San Fran, but if it were universal, our local Costco would have two members, lol. At our Costco, it’s the Suburbans and Tahoes (Mormon assault vehicles) loading three buggies worth of commodities, bulk tuna and jumbo packs of diapers and toilet paper……. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Down here we have a couple uppity grocery stores. Publix and Harris Teeter.

We were on the road for a month or so last summer and when we got here to SC, I about schit when I went into Publix. Prices were double what I was used to.
Not sure if it is just regional or if Biden-flation hit over drive that month we were traveling.

Been hitting Walmart and the Schitty Kitty (Foodlion). Costco is up in Charlotte. Drive sucks.

Costco is less than 3 miles away... Hendrick's gin is over $50 here... at Costco it is $25.

Don’t see much of Chantrelle and Dontario mooching up all the free samples like at the Sams Club..

When I go to Costco it’s 300-400 bleck folks in there with overflowing carts, 50s age.

Our walmarts seem to be 28 year old pimply face moms and every one has a screaming Sweet Pea in the cart. Army wife.

Dillon, my internet friend.

Costco has a website and once you hit $75 or something, shipping is free.

Of course you can't take advantage of the $2 slice of pizza or the hot dogs unless you drive to their store, but I get certain things we use in quantity online a few times a year online. We don't get to the Really Big Towns 3 hrs away often, and the Big Town 2 hrs away only has Fred Meyers and Wally's, no Costco.

Clarkston WA it was great shopping during the week, hardly anyone there. took pics of nearly empty parking lot to send to SoCal relative where one had best get there before opening to even get a parking spot. Fri afternoon and especially the weekends it was Palouse farmers from all around stocking up for a month, giant bags of dog food, beer anf liquor, Rotella motor oil in 5 gal jugs and such.

I went on Monday if I could

I’’ve went in and came out spending less than $20, many times.

Usually a pack of roast beast lunchmeat, a four pack of Bertoli sketti sauce.
Maybe a fancy loaf of artisan bread on spendy trip.

I just don’t need a $3,000 traeger grill, an orgasm inducing recliner, a denise austin treadmill, coleman insulated pants, etc.

Do you buy another one of them black totes with the yellow lids to pack that all home in, just because it never hurts to have another tote handy?

Difficult to believe anyone could get so excited about a birthday party at Costco.

Imagine how much she would be excited to be taken to Golden Corral. A guy could easily get into her knickers after that.

we're pretty big on the premade meals - each time we go we get 2 roasted chickens, the ready made meatloaf, street tacos, chicken pot pie and then the rest of our standards

usually between 200 and 250 each trip.

had to cut out steak though, I just can't justify it anymore.
