That's usually where I draw the line these days. It makes my recliner more comfortable when I settle into it for the evening.

The kids rotate Weds bringing us over a dish to share. Tonight was the middle child's beef shank Bolognese and rigatoni. I'll usually knock back a half a bottle of red with dinner. Tonight was a Pinot Noir. "Maybe we're all happy." "Go to the sporting goods store. From the files, obtain form 4473. These will contain descriptions of weapons and lists of private ownership."

Because when it arrives, we are so Gladys Wednesday. Like all other times, it's one drink per night. Occasionally with a "halfa" extra. Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.
